Moss, people used to call it moss. The shape of bryophytes is generally very small, and there are usually two forms: one is the leaf like body without differentiation of stems and leaves; The other is the stem and leaf body with stem and leaf differentiation. Bryophytes are widely used in the transportation of fresh seedlings, binding the marriage interface of plants, covering cuttings, seedbed and so on. In ornamental gardening, it is used to cover basin soil and decorate mountain and stone bonsai, which is clean and beautiful.
Rapid potted landscape method of false moss on the mountain:
Put the prepared rockery bonsai in the rain or river water. After a few days, sprinkle the taro powder evenly on the rocks, then wrap the bonsai with wet straw or cattail bag, bind the bonsai with nylon rope, spray water and place the bonsai in a wet place. In the future, spray it with tap water or huanmi water. In this way, moss can be produced after about two weeks in dog days, and about one week faster.
Moss inoculation method for rockery bonsai:
Method 1: select nutritious soil into the paste after entering the water, then remove the moss from the wet place and mix it in the paste slurry. Evenly brush the rocks soaked in rain with a small brush, then put it on a semi cloudy and wet environmental towel, and often spray water with a fine watering can. Soon, moss will naturally breed and spread. If you add nutrients such as potato juice to moss, moss will grow faster and better.
Method 2: remove the moss from the shovel, wash and dry it, grind it into fine powder, sprinkle it on the wet rock or basin soil, and then sprinkle some very thin fine dry soil on it. Then slowly invade the whole bonsai into the water. After it is completely soaked, gently pick it up and place it in a damp place to cultivate the ancient mountain stone bonsai. If it is too large, you can use a small watering can to spray it gently. After a long time, lush moss can be produced
Natural mossing method of rockery bonsai:
Place the rockery bonsai in a shallow basin, often sprinkle with the fertilizer soaked in rice washing water, vegetable leaves and bean shell water, and keep warm with plastic bags after sprinkling the bonsai every time. If the temperature is around 20 ℃ and the sun shines in the morning and evening, the rocks will become green and furry in about a month. Although this method takes a long time, the bonsai moss grows naturally without trace, just like a natural one.
Precautions for making moss from rockery bonsai:
The moss used for planting should be collected at the edge of the pool, the foot of the wall, the trunk, under the forest and other places with good environment. The planting position of moss should conform to the natural law, pay attention to the changes of primary and secondary, size, aggregation and dispersion and density, and follow the principle of having deep valleys in the shade and no mountains in the sun. Moss should be trimmed in time to properly set off the beauty of stone. Moss is suitable to grow in acidic soil. If moss turns yellow, it can be watered with ferrous sulfate solution for several times.
The growth and development of bryophytes mainly meet the warm and humid living conditions. Prevent exposure in summer and freezing in winter. Keep it indoors and always wet.
